Any combination of fabrics can be used to make the Simply Scarf Tote. The only exception is non fraying fabric is required for the Hidden Connector pieces.

Fabric yardage may vary depending on directional prints, fabric width, use of multiple exterior fabrics, pattern alterations, and cutting layout.

Exterior Fabric

2 Rolls of Faux Leather, Cork, Vinyl, etc. when using a standard roll measuring 18″ × 53”.

Lining Fabric

1 Roll of LinerTex, Water-Resistant/Waterproof Canvas (or cotton fabric) when using a standard roll measuring 18″ × 53”.

Stabilizer

Cut 2 pieces measuring 13" × 17".
Requires ⅞ yard if using 17"wide Decovil Light, or ⅜ yard if using 35" wide.

Woven Interfacing

1-2 Yards of woven interfacing depending on fabric selections.

Note: Additional fabric and/or woven interfacing may be needed if you choose to add features such as zipper pockets, slip pockets, or a recessed zipper panel.

While the pattern does not provide pattern pieces for a zipper pocket(s) and/or a recessed zipper, you’re more than welcome to add your own, therefore you’ll need zipper tape and pull(s) accordingly.
