The Kensley Tote Hardware Kit is available for purchase.

HARDWARE:

  • (4) 1” Rectangle Rings ,  Figure 8 Strap Connectors
  • (1) 10” #5 Zipper or 11” of Zipper Tape & Zipper Pull
  • (2) Magnetic Snaps
  • 1.5” – 2” Diameter Decorative Button (optional)
  • (4) 1” Strap Ends (optional)
  • (4-8) Rivets – 6 mm – 7 mm for thinner fabrics or 8 mm - 9 mm for thicker fabrics (optional)
  • (1) 10” #5 Zipper or 11” of Zipper Tape & Zipper Pull

HARDWARE FOR ADDITIONAL FEATURES:

    FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1 yard of exterior fabric (suggested fabrics: vinyl, cork, quilt cotton, home décor)

    INTERFACING/STABILIZER:

    If using vinyl along with quilting cotton:

    1 yard of lightweight woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon ShapeFlex SF101 or fusible fleece and

    1/2 yard of Pellon Flex Foam Stabilizer FF78F1 or Decovil Light or fusible fleece (use what you have on hand or prefer working with)

    Optional: Decovil Heavy 526 for the exterior pocket flap. Once the flap has been constructed, but before it has been topstitched cut a piece that can slide down inside the flap.

     OR…

    If using all quilting cotton:

    • 2  yards woven interfacing such as Pellon ShapeFlex SF101 and
    • 1/2 yard of Pellon Flex Foam Stabilizer FF78F1 or Decovil Light or fusible fleece (use what you have on hand or prefer working with)
