Fabulous pattern! Instructions easy to follow and YouTube video extremely helpful for the fussier bits. This is a perfect sized shoulder bag with massive room and loads of pockets. I opted for a turn lock on the front slip and magnetic snap on the back slip pockets. Waterproof canvas for main exterior and vinyl for accents and straps plus quilting cotton for lining. My machine does struggle with thicker sections but that's on me🥴. The bottom base was the most challenging but always is. I love the drop in lining! Just need to rivet strap handles and done!

My very first project on the sewing machine was the Sew Yours Run Around Wristlet. As a very green beginner I made a lot of mistakes but I completed the project and got plenty of compliments. I was very proud of my accomplishment! The pattern and tutorial were easy to follow along with, and if there was something I didn't understand it was as easy as pausing looking it up and then picking back up from where I left off. Melissa has the best shop that is locally for me. Her staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I am colorblind and have trouble matching colors. They spent over an hour with me to help find colors and products to make the bag that I wanted to make. It is one of her bags also. I would highly recommend going there but if you are not able you can always order online.
