Make stitches disappear with MonoPoly Invisible Polyester Thread by Superior Threads. This ultra-fine 100 wt (0.004") polyester monofilament has a softer, lower sheen than nylon, so it blends beautifully for invisible applique, stitch-in-the-ditch, quilting, and hems. Use it in the top or bobbin.

Choose your color:

  • Smoke – best on dark fabrics
  • Clear / White – best on light fabrics

Why polyester monofilament? Better heat resistance than nylon and a subtler sheen, so it presses well and disappears into the fabric.

Setup Tips

  • Needle: Microtex/Universal 70/10–80/12
  • Tension: start slightly lower than normal; fine-tune as needed
  • Wind bobbins slowly and evenly. If you see slippage, use a thread net on the spool.

Note: Use Smoke on dark fabrics and Clear/White on light fabrics for the most invisible results.
